Recording Limits?

Hi, I use the Black Magic Camera for recording 60-90 minute presentations on my iPhone. I've noticed after recording 5-6 events, the camera is stopping recording any future programs after about 7 minutes. It appears the app has a recording limit which is odd because my iPhone has plenty of storage space and so it is not near capacity. Can anyone explain this?

The app doesn’t have recording limits. My guess is the phone is hot.
