I just purchased a Blackmagic assist 12g. I am trying to set up my Panasonic s5xii for Braw. When i set it up for pro res it works fine, I then follow the instructions in the manual to set up my camera. I either get no signal or codec not supported. the steps I have taken on the camera.
1. select hdmi raw output, then accept when the message comes.
2. i select the hdmi time code.
I set the hdmi on the blackmagic assist.
I changed to all of the codecs and still nothing works.
I have tried numerous hdmi cables. Any input will be greatly appreciated.
