Dragging the image within an enlarged screen in Colour?

PostThu May 16, 2024 2:56 pm

Can't figure out where or how I can move the screen content in Colour after I've enlarged it to say 200% so that I can work on some detail. If that detail is to the side of the original 100% frame it will lost. Pretty sure I've seen videos where the person is able to drag the content of the screen after enlaging it. I've been trying things like holding Control while trying to move the image with the mouse, etc. but nothing yet.

Thanks

John

If you are using an Apple Magic Mouse, try holding command-shift while flick panning (moving your finger side to side) on the top of the mouse. Command and flicking up or down does a tilt.

Get a good three button mouse, press and hold the middle button.
Now that the cat #19 is out of the bag, test it as much as you can and use the subforum.

I've just tried the Comand-shift while moving my finger over the mouse method. It does work but only for horizonal movement. Can't figure out how to drag the enlarged image up or down as well.

Command on its own and flick up or down.

Thanks once more Mr Murphy. Now i'm now in full control of the enlarged image using my exisiting mouse. I can enlarge the image and, for example, bring an object in top left corner to the center of the screen where I can very accurately draw a box around it for something like "Object Removal".

Don't mention it. It was one of the things that boggled me about Resolve when I started using it.
