Play vs Stop Color shift

PostTue Jul 13, 2021 4:01 pm

Hi all,

Really baffled by this and it really must be a new thing because I haven't changed anything for a long time...Playback files are UHD ProRes 4444 and I'm getting a shift on play vs stop...It's only showing on very specific keys...I can have 10 nodes of windows and color and see no shift...and then 1 key will shift when I play. By shift I mean if I play with Highlight on, my key changes. First time I can remember seeing it and it's all been on this same footage. I'm working in 1920x1080. It is noticeable on the scopes so it's not a monitoring issues...any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Windows
V 16

Was able to capture with the highlight function on:

Go to Preferences->User->Playback Settings. Set Performance mode to Disable. See if that fixes.
You can also set it to Manual and check the Optimized boxes one by one. If setting an option brings back the problem, leave it unchecked.
