Funny thing is I've seen this video once some time ago but I guess I forgot about this trick. Thanks for reminding me.

18.5b5 Still no custom Quick Export :(. Especially problematic because you can't render from within compound clips on the render page either....

This is just negligence now isn't it?

I hate being demanding about features, Resolve is an incredible piece of software at an amazing price point. The devs are doing great things..

But come on.

I refuse to believe there's a valid reason for the continued absence of custom Quick Exports, and if there is one I think it's only fair we be told why. It's only made worse by the fact that THEY USED TO BE THERE.

This is something that made a multiple times a day task easier, why isn't it there after so many versions now?

Agreed. And it’s also in the DR 18.5 manual…

to be fair the previous implementation of activating some custom preset checkbox for it to appear in quickexport was everything but intuitive. better than nothing tho xD

I remember it being as easy as clicking the (…) menu in the export window.

This should be removed from the manual (or fixed). Would be really nice to have this feature! :)

I only hope it's taking so long because BM is redesigning delivery tab for it to be more advanced (built-in rescaling, renaming clips, color space transformations etc).

18.6.2 on linux does not have it either. It would be very useful.

In a way, ability to send multiple timelines with selected preset solves this thing for me.

Yeah, it is exactly what we wanted, albeit in a bit different way than before.
The ability to export and import presets is a winner too.

Up to a point. Agreed it is really useful, but you still have to manually go over to the deliver page, select all the queue jobs you want and then render them. It doesn't really scream "quick export" to me.

A more fully featured quick export pop-up window still sounds like a better solution imo.

Maybe in Australia ignoring your customers is a good thing?? It's mind boggling that they refuse to inform us about what is going on with their products, particularly with bugs but also with stripped features like this. Not like we're trying to run businesses here...

Just found the quick export feature and was delighted for such an easily accessible button to help quickly send a proof to my client. 10min later and finding this thread it appears it's fake.

Not able to customise WHAT quick export presets are available makes this entire thing pointless.

Please fix!

Still in 18.6.3, this feature is not available. At what point is this going to be implemented ?

Has anyone tried to write to BM service support about that? Is there any workaround to bring back the missing feature?

I have received reply from BM support about the matter. It says:
„As for quick export, it is not possible to customise these settings or use custom presets at this time.
I will need to pass this on to my colleagues in the development team to look at as a feature request.
Whilst we appreciate and welcome all feedback, not every request can be implemented. With this in mind I cannot provide a timeframe for any potential implementation.”
