All. I love the Text Based editing feature, as I am close to no longer needing DeScript, as I only use it for this very reason. I have a question for you all. When you use the Transcription editing function and you remove mistakes, silences etc that all works brilliantly when you append or create a sub clip with the ORIGINAL Video and associated Audio.
My question is, if you also have imported a separate better quality Audio track which has then been sync'd with the Camera Audio track, how do you get the Transcription editor to split and remove THAT track information aswell as they Camera Audio track.
I have tried unlinking the Camera Audio from the Video, and deleting it, so that just the Video clips and the additional better quality Audio track are in the timeline, even trying to link them together, but when you go back into the Transcription editor and delete anything, gaps, mistakes or grab sections and click append. What it does it bring back the Video Audio with it and ignores the additional Audio track.
I have asked BM this question also, just waiting on a response, but thought someone here may have already resolved this. I can't be the only one who wants this to work
If all I did was record from a Boom mic on the Camera, then this is perfect and gives me a solution to move me away from DeScript .. but not being able to text edit out my gaps at the same time on my imported WAV from my Zoom F3, does not give me the ultimate solution I am looking for.
any help would be appreciated!
