audio layer not playing back.

hi all,
maybe a very daft and obvious problem. Apologies in advance, I am migrating from Premiere.

I seem to have a problem with adding audio to tracks and it not playing back.

Audio 5 is not playing back, BUT it registers on the mixer. Any thoughts?

Nothing is muted or soloed. Mixer is untouched. No fx added.

A1, A2 and A3 play fine.

To add to the confusion, if I take the music track on A5 and bump it up to A4 it plays.

But i want it on A5....

Create a new Audio Track (A6) and assign it to the same destination as A5. Does the new Track reproduce with the same source?

Can you upload a sample Project (.drp without media) to inspect?

sorry for not replying. Deadline called. But thanks for the offer of helping!
I will have a play around and try to work out what is happening on downtime.

Down time? Did I say downtime??
