How to use fade on each letter in Fusion -> Text+?

PostTue Apr 30, 2024 6:29 am

Hi! I have a Fusion clip with text, where – by using the "Write On" method – the letters of the text appear step by step on an area that was previously tracked (it is supposed to be a "text in grass" effect). This works fine, but when the letters appear one-by-one, they all appear immediately. I would like to have them fade-in decently though. Can this be done with the current setup? Or do I have to go a different way? Thank you!

You have to use the "Follower Modifier" instead of the "Write On".

Here is a video tutorial of how to use the follower modifier
