DRS 18.6.6: keyFrame Strether is not working correctly

I created a composition (standar 5 seconds)

begin frame 0
end frame 120

Inside that I keyframed a Transform node
the animation starts at 0 ends up at 9 ... then restarts at 111 ends up at 120

So .. at the end I insterdet the KeyframeStretcher ad I set it up in this way

Source Start 0.0
Source End 120.0
Stretch Start 9.0
Stretch End 111.0

By dragging the right-edge of the composition making it longer: it works fine
By dragging the right-edge of the composition making it shorter: is a mess. The animation is cut (the frames from 111 to 120 are lost) and I get black frames till the end of the composition

This has been an issue with the Keyframe Stretcher since it was introduced. It would be great if they would fix it but I'm not holding my breath. I try and use Anim Curves instead of the KFS whenever possible to avoid the issue.

yeah but Anim Curves: on several commands is not working just because it's not present.
And moreover: it changes also the duration of the animation, which is not wanted in several cases (the majority of them)
