Hello,
I have a question regarding the proxy generator.
My original media folder structure looks like this (for example):
Media
- Camera 1 (containing original media)
- Camera 2 (containing original media)
- Drone (containing original media)
When I create proxies with this app, they are created in subfolders of the respective folders containing original media, so it looks like this:
Media
- Camera 1 (containing original media)
-- Proxy (containing proxy media of Camera 1)
- Camera 2 (containing original media)
-- Proxy (containing proxy media of Camera 2)
- Drone (containing original media)
-- Proxy (containing proxy media of Drone)
Which is okay for local use. But for collaboration I need only the proxy files, ideally in a folder structure that resembles the original folder structure, it should look like this:
Media
- Camera 1 (containing proxy media of Camera 1)
- Camera 2 (containing proxy media of Camera 2)
- Drone (containing proxy media of Drone)
To my understanding, that's what the function "Extract proxies" is for. But all it does, is copy the complete folder structure (including original media and proxy media in "Proxy" subfolders) to a new destination. Is this really how it's intended to be? And is there any way to achieve what I want, i.e. extract only proxies in a folder structure that resembles the original media folder structure (with no "Proxy" subfolders")?
Thank you so much in advance.
Thomas
