DaVinci Resolve 19 for iPad: Sneak Peek ¿or more? May 7

I have a theory: that Blackmagic has held off on showing DaVinci Resolve 19 for iPad until Tuesday May 7, Apple’s big iPad event.

We're not allowed to post beta code on the App Store.

But isn’t there an option for beta apps, called “TestFlight” ?
I remember testing DroneLink before it was final. Or is that for phones only?

There is but that brings additional complications.

Yes, I understand that DaVinci Resolve 19 for iPad was shown at NAB24; I was thinking that a much wider public would be able to see it if featured at Apple’s special event on Tuesday.

Releasing it is another matter altogether, though I would point out that there have been final versions of Resolve on iPad while the same version numbers on the desktop applications have been in beta.

I participate in a number of tests of beta and even much earlier stages of apps and applications, and would venture that however much effort is involved in *private* (by invitation or application) testing, the results are far preferable to the general public discovering flaws and/or losing time and/or data.

As we’ve all seen, so much for that theory of mine in the OP above.

Apple took the occasion to announce the second major iteration of their rental editor, Final Cut for iPad.

I wonder though, when we might see DaVinci Resolve 19 for iPad. Blackmagic have set a precedent by releasing v 18.5 final for iPad long before that version became final on desktop/laptop OSes.

Might we be favoured with such a release again, for v 19?

Is there a link to the new features of 19 for iPad pls? I can only see details for the desktop version
