Hi community members,
Here is a newbie question.
Today I installed DaVinci Resolve version 18.6
Everything went fine.
I watched a YouTube video on how to create an intro.
I tried to keep it simple because everything is still new to me.
From the Effects at the top menu, in the toolbox below, I had choose Titles
From the list I choose "Clean and Simple"
I placed this on my timeline and then clicked Fusion to set it up.
I had chosen a light grey background.
This worked fine.
After this, I placed some media images, all pictures.
This also went fine.
Then I wanted to place one more Title with just some simple text and after that some more pictures.
I can place the Basic text title and I can change the text, but I am not able to change the background color.
When I click on the title, I click then below on Fusion, it will show me the picture that is before the title.
Also if I am on the correct position in my timeline and the text title is selected and I click on the Inspector on the top right, I cannot change the background.
No matter what I tried, in the Fusion option below, and screen, I always get the image before the text title.
In the Fusion screen, I can see the two notes. MediaIn1 and MediaOut1 and they are connected.
But in the screen above, I will see the picture from before the text title.
I pressed play, but it still kept on showing the picture and not the text.
I hope my question and what I am trying to do is clear, and maybe someone can tell me what I am doing wrong, or what I should do.
As I mentioned, I am new to DaVinci Resolve and if you try to explain it to me, please keep it simple and try to explain it step by step.
