Disclaimer - I am entirely new to DR and come from a Vegas background.
I need to import an SVG file, a simple shape, into my media pool so that I can add it to my timeline. If I try to import the file into the media pool, I select the file and nothing happens. I can import in the Fusion tab, and that creates a node, but how can I get that node to display on my timeline.
I have found numerous tutorials about how to import SVG files in the Fusion tab and how to manipulate them, but none of them show how to render the image to the timeline.
Granted this is all very new to me and I am a lot more comfortable using the Edit mode. The Fusion mode looks really powerful, and I know I will need to learn how to use it, but right now I just want to incorporate an SVG into my video.
There's additional training for Fusion, but it has quite a learning curve. As a pragmatic approach, I'd suggest to render the SVG into bitmap at sufficient resolution, since DR alone doesn't do that.
Now that the cat #19 is out of the bag, test it as much as you can and use the subforum.
