Shared media, on differnt drives and not in single location

I have issues reconnecting media when one user has all of the footage in one location, and another user needs to have the media on two separate drives. The auto path mapping feature works great when all of the footage is consolidated on single drives, but when spread-out over multiple drives it refuses to reconnect unless you manually reconnect each instance of the location, regardless of how many times you do this Resolve defaults back to a path map.

I'm looking for a work around if anyone has suggestions.
