Hi.
I've been using DaVinci Resolve since 2022 and have loved it, but now it refuses to start on my Windows 11 surface. I've tried everything - I uninstalled the program and installed the latest version, I uninstalled and reinstalled the C++ libraries, I tried changing which GPU it uses, and nothing. It used to work perfectly fine on the same computer before today, so what happened? How do I fix this? I don't want to have to go back to Adobe's barely-functional, memory-annihilating spyware and my copy of Vegas is almost two decades out of date. Why won't DaVinci start anymore?????

Likely a windows OS update changed the GPU driver.

Ah, I see. I thought you were referring to forum.blackmagicdesign.com/faq.php. I'll check that thread out, thanks!

Well, I uninstalled with the Windows Uninstall Troubleshooter (or whatever it's called) and re-installed and now it works!

Not sure what exactly fixed it though. I'll let you know if I run into the problem again.
