Davinci ui card

PostFri Feb 08, 2013 8:57 pm

I got a fast system but got low fps so im thinking that I perhaps need a seperate ui card even thoe I only playback with no nodes.

I have one nvidia 7300gt from a macpro laying around. Could I use that as ui to tell if a seperate ui would solve my low fps speeds.

How about a quadro fx 580? I have only one gtx 680 in the system now and want to se if a gui card would solve my low fps. If it does i will look at getting a gtx 690 instead.

Does the gpu do anything good if your not using any colorcorrect nodes? I have low fps with no nodes.
