X/Y coordinates varying when pasted/entered

PostSat Mar 30, 2019 4:36 am

I suspect, I'm missing something, possibly even simple, but for the life of me I can't figure out what.

I'm looking to place a number of still images in a specific area over top a video clip. They will all have the same zoom and X/Y coordinates and be laid out over a single video track in order, spaced out as required to match the script.

If I set the first one, and copy, then select all the rest and ALT+V paste attributes with the correct attributes chosen, it seems to always be correct for zoom, but the X and Y coordinates are seemingly distributed according to some spread factor in both +&- directions. I expect there is some consistency to how they are spread, but I haven't investigated, as I just want them all to be the same.

Selecting all the images and manually typing in the values has the same result as pasting attributes.

As a result, every week I need to go in and manually enter every X/Y coordinate by hand, despite them all just needing to be one value.

Try changing the anchor point to the upper left for the first still and position as required. Copy and paste these attributes to the other stills. What happens?

This only causes the anchor point to spread along with the X/Y values.

I have the exact same problem and can't find a solution ANYWHERE. My issue is that the X coordinate is shifted several pixels to the left. Y coordinate works fine.

Those X/Y values will be dependent on the resolution of the clip.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
