Batch generate custom icons for all .settings files?

PostSat May 04, 2024 10:53 am

Hi.
I'm just wondering - is there a way to batch generate custom template icons for all .settings macros that are imported to davinci?
Maybe it can be done with a python script.

Because now it's very tedious when I have imported hundreds of third-party templates and all of them have "T" icon and I have to scrub on each to see the preview. It's even more tedious when author of these third-party templates named them like "lower third 01" up to 50 - then I don't remember which one is which.

There has to be a better way to batch generate these icons without manually importing all templates to timeline, exporting them as stills, saving with the same name as .setting file and doing all of these for each of 500 templates...
