By default, generative nodes use linear interpolation. This is the correct thing to do, because you should ALWAYS work in linear when you're compositing.
HOWEVER, the color previews for your generative nodes are ALSO linear, whereas the output will be put through a color transformation at the end. This makes it kind of a pain in when choosing colors, since what you see will always be changed at the end by gamma conversion (see bottom half of that image.)
Blackmagic, could you please add a feature that performs the color conversion to the color preview as well, like the viewer LUTs we already have? Even just a checkbox next to the "source gamma space" dropdown would be fantastic.
