If you are using Resolve, you can start with the free Fairlight Sound Library SFX Collection available from the Support page: https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/suppor ... and-fusion

Scroll down the “Latest Downloads” column to the “Software Update” entry dated “07 Dec 2020“.
⟦ Mac Pro 7,1 Rack ⊕ 16-core 3.2GHz ⊕ 32GB RAM ⊕ Radeon 580X • Resolve Studio 19.0 • macOS 14.4.1 ⟧
⟦ Fairlight Studio Console ⊕ Fairlight Audio Accelerator ⊕ Merging Hapi • Anubis • Ravenna CoreAudio VAD ⟧

And then there is the BBC library: https://sound-effects.bbcrewind.co.uk
As usual, please read the license conditions and respect them.
Now that the cat #19 is out of the bag, test it as much as you can and use the subforum.

Studio 18.6.6, MacOS 13.6.6, 2017 iMac, 32 GB, Radeon Pro 580

Thanks for your help,

If you want totally free, here are some pretty amazing resources:

https://freesound.org/browse/tags/sound-effects/ - a LOT of useful stuff here and it integrates into Soundly!
https://mixkit.co/free-sound-effects/
https://soundbible.com/royalty-free-sounds-1.html
https://nemisindo.com/sounds/ - A really interesting *free* resource that is a browser-based sound effect synthesis platform!
https://pixabay.com/sound-effects/
https://aporee.org/maps/ - Amazing map-based resource of (generally) high-quality field recordings - great for worldizing scenes (e.g. with ambiance, etc.) with location-accurate sounds where available/applicable. If you find a sound you like just be mindful of the license created for that sound - the vast majority (at least to my knowledge) are free for public use but be sure to check!
https://archive.culturalequity.org/collections/field-work - This one is interesting but is only free to use with permission: it's a collection of works by folklorist Alan Lomax (1915-2002) and his father John A. Lomax (1867-1948). For use permissions contact permissions@culturalequity.org.

Hope this helps!
