I am running DaVinci v18.6 on a MacBook Pro M3 Max
The Cut page is unusable. It's extremely choppy and unresponsive. Often the playhead stops and the interface freezes while I can hear the video playing. If I press stop on my keyboard or the speed editor the video stops normally. I then press play again, for a few seconds it works and then it becomes choppy again.
Super frustrating since I bought the speed editor to be able to edit fast in the cut page. I find myself using it only for play/stop in the edit page, where the program works fine.
Lowering the resolution doesn't change anything.
Funny thing: If I use the video clean feed to my other monitor, the clean video works ok and it plays smoothly at full resolution, while the little program monitor on the cut page in my other display is frozen or super choppy.
I did have this problem on an earlier version of Resolve as well.
What could be the problem?
