Has pan automation data been written for the Track?
Temporarily disable the Fairlight automation system by clicking the Automation bypass button (placed to the right of the Transport).
To remove automation data in Resolve's UI with Resolve 18.6.6 and prior:
(i) In Read, the Undo keybinding removes the previous write pass (or steps through passes).
(ii) Via the Automation drawer's "Select Range" tool, draw a marquee and use the backspace key
(iii) Specify a Range prior to selecting Fairlight menu > Automation > Erase
The Automation Mix List provides the ability to quickly step through multiple automation mix passes:
Fairlight menu > Automation > Mix List
Resolve 19 provides a “Clear Track Automation” command from the Track header's contextual menu.
