Default transition alignment setting for default transition

Would like to have my default transition to be placed as "start from cut" which what would a professional editor do all the time at the beat or end of speech, currently it defaults to "centered" and there is no way to change this default behavior.

So, it would be great if we can have something on the settings to change this behavior

I'm a little confused.

They will go to the appropriate place depending on how you place them.

At the head of a clip, Start.

Between clips, Centered.

And the tail of a clip, End.
