I'm torn on this.

I don't say it's a bad idea. It's probably a feature I'd use myself on occasion.

But man, there's a hundred other things I'd love to have first, and I'm not sure that list would ever get short enough for this idea to rise to the top.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

It is easy to misplace markers if you forget that SFP is on, for example. It’d be nice to be able to drag clip markers vertically to different clips, to hold shift to constrain them, and to hold alt/opt to make a copy. Dragging to/from the timeline ruler should convert between clip and timeline marker.

Please add this feature!
Generally speaking markers do need a usability overhaul.
Copy clip / timeline markers and paste them wherever.
Double click on marker pop up > convert to (timeline/ clip marker)
Please add option to delete marker from marker panel.
Differentiate TL from clip markers on said panel with an indent or else.
And a long time one:
Make markers from timelines clips compound clips etc visible on source view, not only at specific time but under the timeline just as they appear on program view.

Absolutely add this feature. Current markers behavior handicaps my workflow.

You can already do this in DaVinci Resolve 18.6 and above.

In this example, I have 4 timeline markers that I've selected and copied...

... and by selecting the source viewer and the clip, I can paste onto each. If I want to paste at an offset, I position the playhead to where I want the first marker to go.
