Lock Markers

On my current timeline I have various markers stretching the whole duration of the timeline, like this:
(In this example I have one marker colour per take, so I can see at a glance which take was used for which area of footage.)

I keep accidentally moving them. Sometimes it's because I'm trying to click in the timecode area to adjust the playhead position. Other times I'm trying to adjust one marker, but it overlaps with another marker at the current zoom level, and the wrong one gets selected.

A simple "Lock Marker" option in marker preferences would be much appreciated. I'd then lock all these markers, and only unlock individual ones when I needed to change it.

I have moved my markers accidentally many times when dragging thru the TL because its always in the way of the scrubbing area unlike Premiere & Vegas way of putting markers, a Lock Marker option would nice.

I recently needed to edit to 5:00, so I set a marker, only to find out it moved with the footage as I slid the endpoints around. It would be helpful to be able to pin it in place.

A 'Lock All Markers' or even 'Lock Markers by Colour' would be so appreciated.
