Hi,
I suggest 2 small changes:
1. rename "Remote Grades" to something more intuitive.
I speak from experience because I was confused at first with the differences between groups and remote grades.
I think that these names would be more intuitive to understand: Local Grades, Source Grades, Global Group.
2. Pink outline for remote grade clips in Clips panel.
When I change clips to remote grades and I don't have any changes applied to this clip yet - there is no pink remote grade icon in Clips panel. It appears only if there is a change applied.
Maybe the icon should be visible always and alongside the icon, the clips that have remote grades turned on should have pink outline in the Clips panel.
