Better text editing tools

PostTue May 07, 2024 7:39 am

I have noticed that when using bigger screens, in my case 27 inch monitor, the text editing area, is so small, that it really makes you squish to see where and what is going on. Also, the lack of granular control in text editing, is not good either. I mean, to be able to add emojis, if needed or wanted in text, also more options to change the fonts within different lines. I know there is a feature already that should able to allow that but damn... i am not able to make it work at all.

Anyway, it would be great to get more granular control with text editing to make it more modern and helpful.

In version 19, we can now edit text right in the Viewer.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

All of that is already possible with Resolve's "Text" title tool.
