Audio Busses not appearing on external control surface

PostSat Apr 20, 2024 9:28 pm

Hi!

I've just noticed that, while all my audio inputs are showing up on my MCU-connected Presonus FaderPort 8, the master bus no longer does.

Is that a bug, or a new setting? Or an old setting, for that matter?!

It works with my Presonus Faderport 1 in HUI mode.

It appears to be behaving itself today. That's odd...

Any reason why you are in HUI mode as opposed to MCU? I was led to believe that MCU is newer?

Thanks, Charles!

I have the original Faderport 1 which doesn't support MCU hence using HUI. I only use it for fader and pan automation in Fairlight, and that's only on temp tracks. I do my audio work in Pro Tools. There too, I use HUI with my original Mackie HUI (still going strong after 26 years) which has far more comprehensive tools than the later Mackie MCUs. :)
