Audio problems with Beta 2

I have existing videos with sound.

After updating to DaVinci Resolve Studio 19 Version 19.0B BUILD 25 (Beta 2) an hour ago, the audio cannot be played without distortion when I am on the Edit page. The audio is clear for about 1-2s before the distortion sets in.

However, when I switch to Fairlight page, the audio is clean and everything is normal?!

Any ideas?

I use a Focusrite Solo w/ ASIO. It has never caused any problems.

What is the source media format and codec?

I use a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K, so it is Linear PCM, 48000, Stereo. There was no problem before the update, other video projects are also affected by the same problem.

I'm not seeing any issues with my own BRAW timelines.

To be honest, I am not sure how my audio setup could be the problem: all tools worked pretty well, the problem started after I had installed Beta 2. AND: the problem is only on the "Edit" page; when I go to "Fairlight", the problem is gone.

But I am happy to try some tweaking of my configuration: which settings are relevant?

I just noticed that the software version from Focusrite seems to be a Beta version! This is a bit unexpected to me: the UI does not tell you, but when you try to update the software you get this:

This is also the latest version you can download from their website.

There is no information on the status of the firmware, it might be tied to the version of Focusrite Control software.

Not sure if that might be an issue here?
