Clip Usage for All Timelines

PostSat May 04, 2024 2:57 pm

I don't know if this is by design or a bug.

When I initiate "Update Usage for Entire Project", I am seeing the Usage count increase as expected. Buuuuuut...when I right click and choose Usage, it still only shows usage for the currently active timeline.

It seems of very limited benefit knowing how many times a clip is used across an entire project. What we need is to see which timelines that clip is used in.

Currently, we still can't.

Studio 19b2 on Windows.

My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Actually, knowing how many times a clip is used across an entire project can be very useful. Ideally, we need to know both how many times and where.
