Alt-F in timeline with media browser closed

PostWed May 08, 2024 7:02 am

This is not a "bug" but simply an UX enhancement hint.

If i select a clip on the timeline and i press Alt-F to find it in the media pool, if the media pool is closed it opens but the clip doesn't get selected, i need to type Alt-F again to get it selected.
Just a small thing.

Cheers!

In Preferences/User/Editing, scroll down and select "Always Highlight Current Clip in the Media Pool". Any clip you then click on will be highlighted in the Media Pool when opened using Alt+F.

Agreed - it would be a better UX if it would open the panel and select the clip. It's a small thing, but...
