RCM Bug?

PostThu May 09, 2024 8:28 pm

I'm seeing something weird. I don't know if it's intended or a bug.

It seems the Source Viewer follows the Color Management settings of the currently active timeline, rather than the Project Settings as expected.

In other words, I would not expect changing the Color Management of the timeline, or switching to a different timeline, to affect how things look in the Source Viewer.

But it does. :?

The source viewer is now following the timeline color space settings for output color space, so you can see in the source the same image as when placed on the timeline.

What issues do you think this creates?

I guess it makes sense. Helps to see the media as it will look once you add it to the timeline.

It was just a point of confusion for me, I think.
