Hyperdeck 8.4 Network recording

I am trying to set up my hyperrdeck to record to a network location. The network location is not showing up in the default list, so I have used the ethernet protocol to add it as a NAS. I have added it and selected it, however it still does not show up or allow me to record to it. The server does require authentication and I have verified that I am entering the information correctly to login

nas add:
url: smb://servername/foldername
Username: {username}
password: {password}

I get a 200 OK response
Then I do a select
nas select:
url: {url}

I get a 200 OK response

when I do nas selected it shows the Url I gave it, but it does not show on my hyperdeck and therefore I can not record to it.

Am I missing something?
