Has this feature been implemented in DaVinci Resolve?
It's incredibly inconvenient for inserting long quotations. Without text wrap, I have to paste the text into Word or PowerPoint, and then manually enter line breaks according to the pagination seen in the other software.

YES, very inconvenient, and I thought they would add this support to version 16, but no?
Anyone know if they have plans to add TEXT WRAPPING like HitFilm etc has?
Hi, I have the same problem. My work around it to use a 3rd party software (in my case, Affinity Designer but any desktop publishing software will do) to create an image file, typically 1920x 1080 with appropriate background colour with the text laid out just as I want it. If you want a transparent background just create an Alpha channel and lay the text on that. Save the file and import into DR.
Not ideal but it works for me. Incidently I paid for the Studio version and it's very disapointing some of the simple stuff that it can't do!
Try this fuse created by Dun Lewis. It works fine with Latin characters, and does work in Fuson 16. Put it in Scripts:Fuses folder and restart fusion, then add it (Tool -- Fuses -- TEXTWRAPPING)
Can you believe it? Still no TEXT WRAP like they have in HitFilm
So we either need to go back to HitFilm...or tediously enter long text into Davinci and keep trying to set it ourselves, which is very time consuming and annoying
There's currently a feature request or two for this in the 'feature request' forum. Go add your support there! In the meantime, someone posted this workaround using Notepad++ which isn't perfect, but is a lot faster than manually trying to format:
The first thing I check at every new release of DR is if they finally added Text Wrapping.
I think if even with the new major release coming this April text wrapping isnt there we should let it go and accept that it will never be implemented.
